Now in their 23rd popular season, these lively tours take place in Annapolis Royal at Fort Anne. Created in 1991 by internationally-acclaimed heritage interpreter Alan Melanson, they are consistently one of the most popular events in Nova Scotia, recommended by major media throughout the world. Thousands of people have taken part in this fun-filled tour, and many visitors actually plan their entire trip to the province around them. Join the fun, wear comfortable walking shoes, and don't forget to bring your sense of adventure!

The Annapolis Royal Lighthouse was built in 1889 and needs significant structural work in order to preserve it. The Historical Association of Annapolis Royal has entered it in the THIS LIGHTHOUSE MATTERS CONTEST in hopes of winning the funding needed to repair it.
